Events

We have two events each month--Happy Hour Networking on the 1^st Wednesday, and a Luncheon Networking with guest speakers on the 3^rd Wednesday.

Recent speakers helped us to develop professional skills such as:

• how to use LinkedIn effectively to make very targeted professional connections
• how to tell our stories to the media
• how to increase our visibility through community news
• how to dress for success with feng shui
• how to network in ways that feel connecting and contribute to each other's lives

On the 1^st Wednesday of each month, we meet at the East Side Bar & Grill in the Coast Hotel, for Happy Hour Networking from 5-7.

BPW Bellevue welcomes Margaret Way

Our topic for May 16^th luncheon is How BPW helps communities and women to succeed

"One hand can do much, two hands can do more, many hands can do the impossible" is one of Margaret Way's philosophy.
Margaret Way served BPW as state president of Washington for two consecutive years. She took 2 years off from work to travel around WA local chapters to help them grow and learn from them. "I can't count the number of women who tell me they wouldn't be the CEO in their organization if they hadn't been with BPW," said Margaret.
She will be sharing stories of how BPW has helped not only women to succeed in their careers, but also how communities turn to BPW as the go to group when the community needs help. Margaret will also be conducting the installation of the new board.
